Founded in 2022, HydroPhos Solutions is a Public Benefit Corporation dedicated to commercializing novel adsorbent research to reclaim phosphorus from wastewater. Our journey began at the University of New Hampshire as a bold idea for a student entrepreneurship competition, and has since evolved into a full-time endeavor.

By capturing phosphorus from wastewater for direct reuse in agriculture, we are turning a pollutant into a vital resource. Backed by leading accelerators and universities, we are now headquartered at Northeastern University’s Roux Institute in Portland, Maine.
